Santipur : A significant financial aid distribution event was held at the 14 No Chirang Duar Block Committee, Santipur, where 60 beneficiaries received checks from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Additionally, five fish farming groups were provided ₹1 lakh each under the BTR Fishery Department's initiative to support sustainable livelihoods.
The event was graced by Hon'ble Rajya Sabha MP Rwngwra Narzary and Executive Member (EM) Ranjit Basumatary, along with other dignitaries from the Block Committee UPPL. This initiative reflects the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) administration's commitment to fostering economic growth and providing assistance to those in need.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, emphasizing that this financial aid will significantly contribute to improving their economic conditions and creating new livelihood opportunities in the region.
