Kokrajhar: Dipen Boro, President of the All Bodo Students Union (ABSU), and Kwrwmdao Wary, Vice President of ABSU, met with Shri A.K. Mishra, Hon’ble Adviser to the North East, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), at North Block, New Delhi, to extend New Year greetings and engage in a meaningful discussion on the progress of the Bodo Accord.
During the meeting, the leaders expressed their gratitude and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of the Bodo Accord. They highlighted key issues concerning the accord and the aspirations of the Bodo community.
President Dipen Boro emphasized the importance of this dialogue, stating, "We have reiterated the need for timely implementation of the commitments under the Bodo Accord. This meeting is a step towards ensuring lasting peace and development in the Bodo areas."
Vice President Kwrwmdao Wary echoed similar sentiments and stressed the importance of government collaboration in addressing pending issues under the agreement.
